Moi university is yet again in the eyes of news papers but this time with a positive effect.
Former President Daniel arap Moi has praised plans for a tripartite partnership between Moi University, University of Haifa from Israel and Kabarak University in the fields of agribusiness, dairy production and floriculture.

The local team was
led by Moi University Vice Chancellor, Prof Richard Mibei, and
Kabarak University Vice Chancellor, Prof Jones Kaleli, while the
Israel team was led by Prof Gershon Saft.Baringo Senator Gideon Moi
also attended the ceremony.
former head of
state received a group of professors and technical experts from
University of Haifa who termed the partnership exemplary and timely.
Moi said the three local institutions would gain tremendously from
the Israeli know how. The seemingly small projects would collectively make a positive impact on the education standards within the three institutions.
This is a greater
achievement in Moi University students will gain a lot and extend
their professionals not only nation wide but world wide.

After a week of negative headlines on the newspapers finally comes some positive news to end such a dull week. My hope is that if there will be funds donated to Moi university in particular it will be used effectively and efficiently without any 'ghost project'.
