ELECTRICITY RISKS

 HOSTEL POWER DISTRACTION.
Its been a daily grumble from students residing in hostel. there has been a crisis of power blackout and tripping of electricity leading to on and off switching games along the hostel corridors. its unfair to  the students even after reporting the incident  to the authority there is no serious action being taken into consideration. there are several challenge being uncounted in the hostels which puts the life of each student at a risk. some of the electric cables and switches have been destroyed, the wires are left hanging and students use the live wires to connect directly to their electrical devices.
 STUDENT TEMPERING WITH WIRES

students tend to use the live wires in connecting their electronics without the background knowledge of electricity. do students know the amount of voltage the electricity carries? it can cost billions of damage within few seconds.
One of the student in hostel claims, "I cant stay without cooking and i need to heat my coil, although i know am risking my life by tempering with the wires i have no choice".
its a trend a culture in the university to use live wired to connect to their electronics. something has to be done sooner to prevent much damage.
What are some of the experiences and complains that you have? Is the administration and SGC taking part in cubing the problem?
